Having Trouble Getting Trips?
If you’re struggling to receive trip requests, you’re not alone. We’ve got some tips to help you get back on track:
Quick Fixes:
Move to a Busy Area: Head to a place where demand is likely to be higher.
Restart the App:
- Close the Uber app completely.
- Turn your smartphone off and on again.
- Check for updates and install the latest version of the Uber app.
- Also, update your phone’s built-in navigation app via your app store.
- Ensure your preferences are set to receive all trip types that you’re eligible for.
- Make sure you’re within the city you’re activated to drive in
Check Your Connections:
- Ensure Wi-Fi is on (go to Settings > Wireless).
- Turn on your phone’s GPS (find this in Settings > Privacy > Location Services).
- Try toggling Airplane Mode on and off (this is located in Settings).
- Reopen the Uber App: After trying the above steps, launch your app again to see if the issue is resolved.
Device Requirements:
Remember, to get the best experience with the Uber app, your device should meet the following specifications:
- An iPhone 5C or later.
- Alternatively, any other smartphone with at least 1GB of RAM.
