I'm not receiving mobile verification texts

If you are trying to verify your mobile number, first check which number is associated with your account.

To check which number is associated with your account, and whether it's verified:

1. Select the menu in the top left hand corner of the app's home screen
2. Select your name at the top of the menu. The mobile number associated with the account and whether it's verified will be viewable.

If your mobile number is still not verified:
1. Resend the verification code by retyping your preferred mobile number in the phone number tab.
2. You will be prompted to enter the verification code sent to you via SMS. This SMS may take several minutes to be delivered.

If after this process you are not receiving verification texts, your mobile carrier may be blocking the short code SMS that Uber uses to contact you. Please contact your mobile service provider to confirm that short code SMS is enabled for your account.
