Changing a trip's destination

Riders can change a trip’s final destination if needed anytime before the trip ends for most Uber ride types. This feature isn’t allowed for UberX Share trips.

To change a trip’s destination:

1. Go to the app, and tap the Enter destination bar
2. Enter the new address

Some places have similar street names. It’s good practice to let riders enter their preferred destinations and then confirm with them.
