How do I earn points?

As an Uber Rewards member, you can earn points by taking eligible Uber rides or placing Uber Eats orders. These points can be earned even if the ride is booked through an Uber for Business account, or with a Business or Family profile.

Points can only be redeemed for rewards in France, but can also be earned through rides or orders placed internationally. The amount spent will then be converted into the local currency.

At the top of your receipts, you can see the number of points earned on a ride or order.

€1 spent on Uber Eats or UberX Share = 1 point
€1 spent on UberX, Electric, Comfort, or Access = 2 points
€1 spent on a Sedan or Van = 3 points

Points cannot be earned on:

- Tips to delivery partners or partner drivers
- Cancellation fees
- Parts of trips or orders covered by a promotion
- Trips shared with another user
- External charges such as damages or cleaning fees
- Bike or JUMP scooter rides

Note that other types of trips may also be ineligible.

How do I unlock the next tier?

When you first join Uber Rewards, your tier is based on your last 6 months of Uber rides and Uber Eats orders. You then have a further six months to accumulate enough points to reach the next tier. Each tier has its own privileges.

The number of points required to unlock new statuses is as follows: Blue (0 points), Gold (500 points), Platinum (1,500 points), and Diamond (3,000 points).

Points will be reset at the end of each 6-month period; however, any new status unlocked during this period will be retained for the next 6-month period with the same benefits.
