Viewing accepted vouchers

To view the status of the vouchers for each program:

  1. Sign in to vouchers.uber.com.
  2. Select the voucher campaign from the list. The total vouchers accepted will appear at the top of the program details.

If you’re a Program Administrator on your business account, you can find more specific details about each accepted voucher by downloading an activity report under Activity on the Uber for Business dashboard.

How customers receive and redeem vouchers

The way customers receive and redeem vouchers depends on whether vouchers were distributed by Uber or by your organization.

If Uber distributed your vouchers, customers are notified that they received a voucher via text message, email and/or push notification in the Uber or Uber Eats app.

If you distributed your vouchers, your company is responsible for sending customers voucher links (via email campaigns, social media posts, etc.) to let them know about any voucher program you create. Customers can tap the links to see the value of the voucher and add it directly to their Uber or Uber Eats account by accepting the voucher.

Do customers need the app to use a voucher?

Customers must use the Uber app, Uber Eats app, or ubereats.com to redeem their vouchers.

If they don’t have an Uber account, they’ll be prompted to create one.

What if a customer is having issues redeeming a voucher?

Make sure the trip or meal the customer is trying to request meets the requirements you originally set for the voucher. If the voucher still isn’t working, you can edit the voucher program directly from vouchers.uber.com.

If a customer redeemed a voucher but it didn’t apply to their trip or order, they should contact Support via the Uber or Uber Eats app or on help.uber.com.

Can vouchers be retroactively applied to trips/orders?

Yes, vouchers can be retroactively applied to trips/orders, as long as all voucher restrictions were met. To apply a voucher to a past trip/order:

  1. Select Trip/Orders from your app’s history,
  2. Select Get Help and follow the prompts related to vouchers.

NOTE: Vouchers can be applied to trips/orders for up to 30 days after the trip/order was completed. If your voucher covers tips, tips can also be applied to trips/orders for up to 30 days. This may result in charges to an org’s voucher campaign up to 30 days after the campaign is complete.
