To drive with Uber, you must meet your state’s minimum driver age requirement and a valid US driver’s license.
If your license is less than a year old (e.g., you’ve moved states or replaced a lost license), you’ll need to provide details from your previous license to verify your driving history
How to provide proof 1. Gather documents showing your driving history 2. Log in to your account through the Driver app or at drivers.uber.com 3. Upload the necessary documents
This step is only for driving with Uber, not for completing deliveries. For more information, visit our Proof of Licensing History page.

If you’ve had a license from a different state in the last 5 years, you must provide proof during the onboarding process. You’ll be prompted to fill out a questionnaire to determine what documentation is required.
Please ensure all documents are up to date and meet your state’s driving requirements. For questions, contact Uber Support.
