At Uber, we know many of the people who drive or deliver with us are working toward something bigger – a business idea, a side hustle, or a long-held dream. That is why we created the Business Booster Program, in partnership with Inspiring Rare Birds: a free, flexible business education and funding opportunity tailored specifically for those earning on the Uber and Uber Eats platforms. Now in its third year, the program is more accessible than ever – and open to all Uber driver partners and Uber Eats delivery people across Australia and New Zealand.
What is Business Booster?
Business Booster 2025 is a six-month online program designed to help drivers and delivery people develop or grow their business ideas. It includes: 8 expert-led masterclasses covering key topics like marketing, finance, strategy, and growth Live Ask the Expert sessions, post-class quizzes and downloadable resources Access to an online learning community to connect with others and share ideas A certificate of completion to support future opportunities The opportunity to enter a pitch competition in November for a chance to win a share of $50,000 in business funding
Why this matters:
Business Booster is about more than just learning – it is about progress. For many people on the Uber platform, driving or delivering supports broader goals. This program helps turn those goals into action, providing the tools and confidence to start or scale something of their own. Since 2023, over 200 participants have taken part, launching businesses across tech, design, sustainability and more. In 2025, Business Booster is scaling its impact further by opening to every eligible driver and delivery person across Australia and New Zealand.
How to join the program:
Eligible Uber driver partners and Uber Eats delivery people can opt in to the program directly through the link in their email or Uber Driver app messages. Alternatively, they can register within the Uber Driver app: Open the Uber Driver app Tap Help Search “Business Booster” to access the program registration form Once registered, participants can access the program on the online learning platform and start exploring the modules right away.
Who can take part:
Business Booster 2025 is available to any Uber driver partner or Uber Eats delivery person in Australia or New Zealand who has completed at least one trip or delivery since 1 January 2023. Participation is completely free.
