I had too many riders for my vehicle

We understand that picking up a larger group of riders can present additional challenges.

Uber is committed to safety for everyone. Please don’t allow more riders than your vehicle has seat belts for.

If more than the maximum number of riders try to enter your vehicle, you can:

1. Politely decline starting the trip.
2. Suggest that some or all of them request a larger or additional vehicle.

If you completed an UberX trip with more than 4 riders and your vehicle’s capacity isn’t greater than 4 occupants, please let us know here. We’ll review the trip fare and make any necessary adjustments.
