Schiphol Smartcard

HOW DO I RECEIVE A SCHIPHOL SMARTCARD?

Schiphol Smart Cards are now available for pick up at the Amsterdam Greenlight, you can make an appointment via the link below.

You must show your driver’s license or driver’s card when you pick it up, so make sure you have it with you. Please note that a 100€ one time deposit fee will be charged. If the card is ever returned, this 100€ deposit will be given back.

UNTIL WHEN CAN I PICK UP A SCHIPHOL SMARTCARD?

Due to great enthusiasm for the Schiphol Smartcard, please note that there is a limited number of cards available so the SmartCards will be issued while supplies last.

From February 26th passengers on all types of Uber rides (including Uber Black and Uber Van) must be picked up from the new location.

The approach route will be the same as now, with an exit on Koepelstraat, but the route back to the A4 now goes via Handelskade. The new pick-up location is closed with a barrier. Drivers need a Schiphol Smartcard to open this barrier, and it is therefore important to have a physical Smartcard in the vehicle.

Drivers who no longer have a Smartcard but still want to make trips at Schiphol in the future, need to visit the Greenlight Hub in Amsterdam to pick up a new Smartcard.

If you have not made a trip from Schiphol in the six months prior to February 26, your card will be deactivated by Schiphol. In this case, a new Smartcard must be collected from the Greenlight Hub to be able to carry out journeys from Schiphol again.

Additionally, a new document will replace the current A-Baan Smartcard document.
