What to do if the wrong rider gets in your car

Having the wrong person hop into your vehicle is certainly not ideal. If this happens, it’s important to know that we can’t charge for the trip — simply because we can’t verify this rider’s identity. To prevent any mix-ups and ensure your trips are smooth:

• Check the rider’s name: Before you begin driving, confirm the rider’s name. Your Driver app shows this information as soon as you accept their trip request.
• Share your details: Remember, riders can see your name, photo, type of car, and license plate number to help them identify you correctly.
• PIN Collection: Please ensure you collect the PIN for each trip and proceed to start the trip.
