The Postmates app lets you cancel orders without contacting our support line. However, there may be a charge depending on when you cancel the order.
To cancel an order directly through the app:
- Access your live order status screen, then tap “Cancel Order”.
- A pop up will appear to confirm you’d like to cancel and alert you to any charges associated with canceling.
- To complete the cancellation, tap “Cancel Order”.
- Select why you’ve chosen to cancel, then tap “Done”.
To verify charges on the order:
- From the bottom menu bar, tap the receipt icon to view the order page.
- Scroll until you find the canceled order.
- Tap “View receipt”.
