  2. In the app, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner
  3. Select Account
  4. Tap Documents
  5. Choose the document you need to upload
  6. Tap Take photo to capture a new photo or upload one from your device

Make sure all documents are clear and complete before submitting. You can check the status of your document in the app.

Dealing with rejected or expired documents

Sometimes a submitted document might get rejected or flagged as expired. This can happen for a few reasons:

  • You may not meet the eligibility requirements
  • Your vehicle may not meet Uber’s standards
  • There could be issues with the document submitted

Common document issues to avoid

  • Photos that are blurry, dark, or don’t show the entire document
  • Uploading a photocopy instead of the original document
  • Missing information or an unreadable document
  • Documents that have expired or are about to expire

To ensure a smooth approval process, double-check that your documents are current, clear, and meet Uber’s requirements. If you encounter any issues, correct them promptly and resubmit the documents for verification.
