To make the most of your time on the road, it’s helpful to know when demand for rides is highest. Here’s how you can plan your driving schedule effectively:

Weekday and weekend demand:

• Peak Times: Look out for increased ride requests during weekends, rush hours, and evenings.
• Planning with Hourly Trends: Use your Driver app to check busy times with these steps:
  • Click on the three lines icon on the top left of your app.
  • Choose Earnings
  • Click on Earnings trends
  • Select your city by tapping the city name on the screen
  • Slide the time frame selector under the hourly chart.

Locating High-Demand Areas

Discover where you’re needed most with the in-app heat map:

• Color guide: The heat map uses colors to show demand levels:
  • Light colors mean lower demand
  • Darker colors indicate higher or surging demand
• Using the map: Zoom in and out to see areas with surge pricing, shown as multiples like 1.3x, 1.4x, or 2.1x.
