In the Driver app
For a smooth experience in managing your account, follow these steps to change your password directly in the app:
- Tap the menu icon (3 horizontal lines) at the top left corner
- Choose Account from the options
- Select Manage Uber Account
- Select Security and then Password to update your password

- Sign in to account.uber.com/security
- Select Password
- Enter a new password and select Update
Troubleshooting password reset issues
- The email address entered may be incorrect
- You may no longer have access to the email or phone number on your account
- Changes in your linked rider account’s email or password may affect access
- Using multiple Uber accounts can complicate account recovery
Uber recommends only one account per person for the Uber Driver app.
