WHAT IS UBER CASH/CREDIT?
Uber Credit can be applied to any order. Uber Credit is a monetary balance added to your account that you can choose to apply to specific orders.
HOW DO I RECEIVE UBER CASH/CREDIT?
Uber Credit is usually given through a gift card, by referring someone or being referred, or as a result of a support interaction.
HOW DO I USE UBER CASH/CREDIT?
Uber cash/credit can be applied to any order by following these steps:
[1] Create an order in the Uber Eats app
[2] Follow the onscreen prompts until you reach the Review & pay screen
[3] At the top of the screen, find and tap your current payment method
[4] Select “Uber Credit” on the Payment Options screen
[5] Return to the Review & pay screen and check that Uber Credit is the selected payment method
[6] Review your order and tap “Place order”
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT UBER CASH/CREDIT?
[1] Credits are usually applied automatically and you’ll see a green tick beside the credits option in the checkout screen
[2] If this isn’t ticked you can toggle it on by ticking the box
[3] Unlike promotions credits are treated as a payment method so the value of your order won’t reduce when these are toggled on
[4] You’ll need a valid alternative payment method on your accoun to ensure the credits apply, your payment method will be authorised and your credit will be charged once the order is completed
[5] You can view your credit at any time by checking in the ‘WALLET’ section of your profile in the Uber Eats app
[6] Credit will only apply for the currency it’s been issued in
HOW TO EARN UBER CASH/CREDIT?
Refer friends and family to Uber Eats by sharing your personal invite code with them:
[1] Select the profile icon from the bottom menu bar of the Uber Eats app
[2] Tap “Get X off your next order” from the menu to see your invite code
[3] Share the code through your social media accounts or sending a message to your friends
[4] If any of your friends haven’t used the app before they can join using your code
[5] Once a friend that you’ve invited to Uber Eats orders their first meal, your account will automatically receive Uber Cash. The amount of Uber Cash for a referral will vary by city.
