What if we forgot an item for an order?

Next steps depend on the order status:

If you forgot an item for an order and the delivery person has not yet delivered the food:

  • Please contact your delivery person to coordinate a return to the restaurant. You can reach out to them in the ‘Order history’ section of the Uber Eats Orders by selecting the clock icon on your screen.

If the order has been delivered or the delivery person cannot go back to the restaurant:

  • Contact Uber support though the link below. We’ll reach out to the customer to confirm they still want the missing item. If they don’t want the missing item, we’ll adjust the total sale of the order and refund the customer for the missing item.

NOTE: - Double check each order before handing it off to a delivery person - Try to seal the delivery bag and write the order number or staple the receipt on it
