Updating your banking details ensures you receive your earnings without delays. Here’s how you can change your bank account information:
Via the driver app:
- Tap the Menu button (three lines) in the top left corner
- Select Wallet
- Choose Payment Methods and select your current bank account
- Choose Edit and verify your ID.
- Fill in your bank account details
- Select Submit
On drivers.uber.com:
- Select the Banking tab in the top menu
- Select your current bank account from the Payment methods section
- Choose Edit and verify your previous bank account number for security
- Fill in your bank account details
- Select Submit
Finding your routing and checking numbers:
You can find these numbers at the bottom of your personal checks or you can ask your bank for this info.
How to update your phone number:
Keep your contact details current to ensure smooth communication. To update your phone number:
- In your app or on partners.uber.com, select Profile from the menu
- Enter your new phone number
Important notes:
- Making changes to your banking info can delay your weekly earnings by 3-5 business days. To avoid this, submit any changes before 4 am local time on a Monday
- If earnings are sent to an old account, contact your bank to retrieve them
