We highly suggest you to follow these recommendations:
-Uber Economy is exclusively for item delivery and can’t replace an UberX ride. If an User orders by mistake and doesn’t wish to use it for this purpose, please ask them to cancel.
-If the delivery PIN has been activated for the trip, you will be able to see it in your application. **You will need to request this PIN from the receiver to ensure that the item is delivered to the correct person. **
-If the user doesn’t provide the PIN correctly, you may deny the delivery of the item. For situations like this we recommend that you ask for authorization, via chat, to whom asked for the delivery. Alternatively, you can finish your trip, keep the item with you and reach out for support, which will coordinate a return trip for the delivery item, afterwards with an additional cost.
-If after 10 minutes waiting, you are not able to communicate with the requester, you can cancel the delivery from your application, selecting the cancellation reason that best suits the situation. It is important that you wait for these 10 minutes and let us know that you have the item with you, so we can coordinate the return with the requester at a later time.
