Package FAQs

Allows Uber rider app users to send packages to family and friends. It’s an affordable same-day, contactless delivery solution that keeps people feeling connected. Package will only be available to delivery people who use a car as their vehicle in select cities. Please note that Package has a different pricing structure compared to our other delivery offerings, find out more details in the link below.

  1. You’ll receive a request in your app that will say “Package”, and you can choose to accept or decline it
  2. If you choose to accept a Package request, you may receive notes in the app from the sender with additional pick up and drop-off details.
  3. Meet the sender at the kerbside of the pick-up location to safely load the package into the boot of your vehicle and help minimise contact. If you receive a Store Pickup Package request, enter the store and use the details provided by the rider (i.e. order number and proof of payment) to pick up the package.
  4. Bring the package to the recipient at the drop-off location. If you are unable to connect with the recipient, try to contact the sender to resolve the issue before ending the delivery.
