How does Uber Pro work?
Uber Pro is a rewards program for drivers, offering perks based on their driving behavior.
To qualify for Gold+ tiers, drivers need a rating of 4.85 or higher and a cancellation rate below 4%.
The program has four tiers: Blue, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. These tiers are determined by points earned per trip (1 point per trip, with extra points (3 points) during peak hours). Earning more points unlocks higher tiers.
With Uber Pro, you have the opportunity to unlock new rewards as you reach a higher status. Your status is determined by the quality of your service along with your trip points over a fixed 3-month period. Drivers are able to opt-out of the program if they do not want to participate.

Uber Pro is available to any driver who signs up with Uber from the first day, and you can also opt out if you wish to do so.

Firstly, please make sure you have updated your Uber app to the latest version.
To learn more about your status, tap the Earnings Pill on your Home screen, swipe left, and tap 'See Progress'. This is where you can learn more about your status in the program and see a more detailed view of your rewards.
You can also get a view of what your star rating and cancellation rate are and compare this to the eligibility criteria for the program.

It may take up to 48 hours before points from a trip are reflected in your Uber app.

QUESTION: Why are my points not being carried over to new period? Why has my tier changed?
Please note that you will earn points in the following fixed three (3) month periods:
(i) 1 October - 31 December
(ii) 1 January - 31 March,
(iii) 1 April - 30 June
(iv) 1 July - 30 September,
The points you earn in one period dictate your Uber Pro status in the next period. Your points will not carry over and your balance will be reset to zero at the end of each period.
If you earn enough points to move to the next tier, you will hold that tier for the remainder of the applicable period and for the duration of the next period, provided that you continue to meet the Uber Pro program quality criteria. You must maintain a rating of 4.85 or higher, and cancellation rate of 4% or below.
