Understanding Waybills

Waybill overview

Waybill is a feature in the Driver app that provides a record of your current or most recent trip. It includes important details such as the rider’s name, pickup and dropoff locations, the time of the trip, your name, and vehicle information.

Purpose of waybill

Waybill is used to fulfill regulatory requirements and to help you share your identity and trip information with law enforcement in the following situations:

  • When law enforcement pulls you over during a traffic stop or crash
  • When law enforcement arrests drivers delivering packages through Connect
  • When Connect drivers take suspicious or illicit items to police stations
  • When security or law enforcement want to verify your status before permitting entry to a special event or sensitive pickup or dropoff location, such as a military base

Accessing waybill

If you’re currently on an active trip, you can access the Waybill for your current trip in the Driver Feed.

If you’re not currently on an active trip, you can access the Waybill for your last completed trip from your home screen.
