Flight Status
It is always a good idea to check the status of your flight before you leave for the airport and when you arrive. Last minute changes can happen from time to time, due to things like bad weather or mechanical issues.
You should be able to check your flight’s status on the airline’s main web page or the airport’s website. We recommend keeping an eye on those big screens in the airport while waiting for connecting flights! Some airlines offer a flight status text alert feature which you can sign up for when managing your booking on their website.
Airline Schedule Changes
As an online travel agency, we unfortunately do not have any influence on an airline’s flight schedules. Schedule changes can happen from time to time when the carrier must adjust their schedule, route, or aircraft. Uber Flights will notify you about the flight cancellations or airline-imposed schedule changes both in the app and/or by email. Look for this pop-up in the app and be sure to check any emails you receive from Uber Flights.
If you receive an email about a schedule change, it may require a response from you. It’s important to review the schedule change details and follow the directions in the email.
Flight Disruptions and Delays
If you’re at the airport and your flight is either delayed or cancelled, see an agent at the airline counter right away. In most cases, they are able to book you on the next flight or offer a refund. If they are unable to assist you after speaking with them, please contact Uber Flights support.
If your flights are cancelled due to weather or current events, airlines may waive change fees for a limited time.
While Uber Flights is happy to assist with re-booking your flights, we may only process changes or refunds that the airline has authorised.
Why is my booking pending?
Sometimes it can take some extra time to complete a booking, so it’s marked as “Pending.” The airline may need some time to confirm the itinerary on their end or Uber Flight’s Account Security team may need to confirm the validity of the cardholder. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a notification, a confirmation email sent to your email address and you can access your itinerary through ‘My Bookings’ in the Uber Travel section of the app.
