How does Uber Taxi work?

Uber Taxi is a new option through which you can access vehicles duly authorized and registered in the local transportation application TaxExpress to make trips in the cities of Cali and Bogota.

It is important for you to know that Uber Taxi in Colombia operates through a strategic cab platform ally, and that in cases related to fares, vehicles in poor condition, lost items and problems related to the professionalism of the Taxi Driver, the support will be redirected to this intermediary (TaxExpress).

You can request a ride in the app by following these steps:

1. Open your Uber app.
2. Enter the point to start the trip.
3. Choose the “Uber Taxi” option.
4. Confirm the starting point and destination point.
5. A Taxi Driver will accept your request and will pick you up to take you to your destination.
6. At the end of the trip, rate the Taxi Driver.

Accepted payment methods for Uber Taxi rides are credit card, debit card, cash and Uber Cash.
