This policy describes how Uber and local operators ("Operator") share your personal data to provide you the transportation services you've requested through the Uber app that will be fulfilled by the Operator ("Services"). You will be able to book rides with an Operator through the Uber app who will also arrange the Transportation Services.
By proceeding with your request you acknowledge that Uber will share your personal data to provide you the Services.
What personal data are we sharing?
To allow you to request the Services directly through the Uber app, Uber shares the following information with the relevant Operator and the driver that will fulfill your trip:
-Your contact details (name, and phone number, which will be anonymous for the driver where anonymisation techniques are available); and
-Your location information, such as the pick-up and drop-off information, which will be anonymised for the driver after completion of the trip.
and the Operator will share the following personal data with Uber:
-booking data to allow Uber to collect relevant fees (date, start and end time, vehicle details and fare charged)
-trip data for your trip history records (date, start and end time and duration of trip, route information, including point of pick-up, gps locations of trip, point of drop-off, distance travelled, your driver details, and vehicle details).
Complaints & Incidents: in case of a complaint or incident during a trip fulfilled by an Operator, your personal data may be shared between Uber and the Operator, as well as with law enforcement agencies or regulatory bodies. This will include your contact details, relevant data about the trip, the incident, or actions taken, and may be used to take appropriate action on your Uber account.
Why do we share your personal data?
Uber and the Operators use this personal data to provide you with the Services, also described above in more detail, detect and prevent fraud, for safety and security purposes and to improve products and services.

For any customer support related queries, please reach out to:
Uber, if it regards your Uber account, your payment method, or the sharing of your personal data; and
The relevant Operator, if it regards your trip with the Operator. You can directly contact the relevant operator via the app. Your email address will be collected by the Operator to facilitate communications.
In certain cases Uber and Operator may share data submitted by you as part of your enquiry to help resolve the issue.
Want to stop sharing your personal data?
You can stop sharing your data at any time by not taking a trip with a local Operator, however you'll be unable to use the Operators Services directly through the Uber app.
