To redeem your Gift Card, you may be prompted to create an Uber Money account, if you don’t have one already.

Uber Money is available in select countries. To determine whether Uber Money is available in your country, please make sure to switch on your location service.

Navigate to your mobile settings where you can activate the service.

Activate Location Services on iOS

1. Select “Settings” then “Privacy
2. Select “Location Services” then “Uber”
3. Choose “Always”

On Android follow these steps:

1. Select “Settings,” then “Apps
2. Select “Uber” then “Permissions”
3. Toggle “Location” to on

If you receive the message “Gift code already redeemed”, this means the card or code has already been redeemed. As a first step, we recommend checking with friends or family members who may have had access to the card.
