What is a Compliance Center?

The Compliance Center provides account registration support and physical document verification for non-Japanese nationals (including permanent residents and special permanent residents). Even if you submitted only your Residence Card at the time of registration, the Compliance Center requires physical verification of your original passport. Please be sure to bring your original passport with you.

Non-Japanese nationals must undergo an ID check (identity verification) at any Compliance Center nationwide after submitting their documents. You may start delivering after completing the ID check. Depending on the document approval status and account state, you may not be able to go online immediately after the ID check.

Please note that the Compliance Center only handles the verification of identity and official documents. For all other inquiries, please contact support via the Uber Driver app.

[Important Notes for Visitors]

• Supported Languages: Support is available in Japanese and English. A communication check in Japanese or English may be conducted at the Compliance Center. Depending on the result of the check, you may be requested to visit again.
• Congestion Control: To reduce congestion, depending on your document approval status or the time of your visit, we may ask you to wait and return at a later time.
• Visitor Policy: Due to limited seating inside, please visit alone (only the person undergoing the ID check).
• Depending on congestion, accompanying persons may be asked to wait outside.
• Arrival Time: Please refrain from visiting prior to the operating days and hours listed below.
• Schedules: For the latest operating days, please check the official Uber website.
• Inquiries: For inquiries regarding Uber, please contact us via the Uber Driver app. Strictly refrain from contacting the building management or staff of the premises.

• Operating Days: 2nd and 4th Friday of every month (Closed on public holidays)

  • 2027: Jan 7 (Thu)
    • Only for the 2nd week of January 2027, operation will be on Thursday (Jan 7).
    • Operating dates after Jan 7, 2027 will be updated sequentially.
