Uber මඟියාගේ වයස් අවශ්‍යතා

Minimum age

• For safety reasons, riders must be at least 18 years old to create their own Uber account.
• A program available in select cities allows teens aged 13–17 to ride unaccompanied with a parent or guardian’s permission.
• Through Uber for Teens, minors can request rides using a teen account linked to a family profile.
• For details on how to identify an Uber for Teens trip, visit Uber for Teens FAQ.
• Unless the offer card indicates an Uber for Teens trip, anyone under 18 must ride with an adult at all times.

If you suspect a rider is underage:

• Politely ask them to show a driver’s license or ID card to confirm their age.
• You have the option to cancel the trip if you believe the rider is underage (Select unaccompanied minor as the cancellation reason and potentially receive a cancellation fee).
