How to use underpayment and change tools

Sometimes users may not have the full amount for a cash trip, or you may not have enough change.

Here are some instructions for these situations:

I WAS PAID LESS THAN I SHOULD

  1. Select “COLLECT CASH”.
  2. Tap on “OTHER AMOUNT” and insert the amount that you actually received.
  3. If you don’t see this option, you can access our Help Center and we will help you there.

I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH CHANGE

  1. You can ask the user if he would like to receive the change as Uber Credits through the app.
  2. If he agrees, select “COLLECT CASH” and you’ll see a simplified receipt with the amount to be collected.
  3. Tap on “OTHER AMOUNT” and insert the amount that you actually received.
  4. If you don’t see this option, you can access your Help Center and we will help you there.

This action won’t affect your payment, it will only add credits to the user and the trip will be completed normally.

PIX QR CODE PAYMENT OPTION

Cash trips can now be paid using the Pix QR Code.

At the end of cash trips, you can select the “Pix QR Code” option. This option will generate the code for the user to scan using a bank app of their choice.

When a payment is made using the Pix QR code, it goes on your earnings statement to be paid in the next weekly payment.

THE USER HAD A PROMOTION

If the user has a promotion, he will pay the amount normally with the discount. However, it does not affect your payment, you’ll receive the full amount for the trip.
