Order size guidelines

Every delivery request requires a size to be specified for each manifest item that is specified in an order. Delivery drivers use this information to determine which mode(s) of delivery (walker, bicycle, car, etc.) are viable, to communicate with the delivery person on space expectations for their vehicle, and when deciding if and when an order can be batched and/or chained.

Here are some handy guidelines to help you make the right size selection for your item(s)/package(s):

  • Small: You can carry it with one hand (e.g. bottle of water)

  • Medium: You need a tote bag to carry it (e.g. retail bag)

  • Large: You need two hands to carry it (e.g. computer monitor)

  • X-Large: You will need to make multiple trips to/from vehicle to transport (e.g. grocery order)

    • Specifying X-large items will require car or van to be dispatched

Note: No single item can weigh more than 50 pounds (roughly 23 kilograms) to be eligible for delivery.
