1. Uploading driver license and profile photo
- National driver’s license (CNH) with EAR: Take clear pictures of the front and back of your license
- Profile picture: Upload a recent, clear profile photo
2. Background check reviewing
- Third-party review: After your documents are approved, an external vendor will conduct your background check
- Time frame: Background checks typically finish within 5 business days, however, they can sometimes take longer.
3. After the background check is complete
- Eligibility: We’ll use your report to determine if you can drive with Uber
- Notification: You’ll be informed about the decision via email after we have reviewed the document
