Uber Rentals will be available to a select few riders and will be rolled out gradually to the rest of Australia and New Zealand.
Make sure you download the most up to date version of the Uber App to access rentals. If you do not have access to the Rentals option yet, we will let you know when it becomes available to you.

WHAT IS UBER RENTALS?
Riders will be able to book a rental car anywhere in the world using the Uber app, via Uber's partnership with rental bookings business, Cartrawler.
They'll also receive exclusive discounts on Uber Rentals and will be rewarded with 10% back in Uber Credits on ALL bookings (through 31 Dec 2020).
PLEASE NOTE: Uber credits and rewards can take up to 30 days from the rental car return date, to show in your Uber app.
WHERE DO I PICK UP MY RENTAL CAR
Your rental vehicle can be picked up at your chosen car rental supplier branch.
Once you add an address in the search bar, the app will show rental companies near you and how far the pick up location is from you.
HOW LONG CAN I RENT A VEHICLE?
The minimum rental period is 1 day.
Typically, you can book a car up to 2 hours before picking up your rental vehicle. However this may depend on the rental company supplying the vehicle and their availability.
HOW DO I PAY FOR UBER RENTALS?
To book a car rental, you'll need to enter your payment details in the car rental booking screen in your Uber app. The payment is facilitated by CarTrawler. .
