Driver Destination Filter

Optimize your driving routes with the Uber “Driver Destination” feature, designed to make your journeys more efficient by matching you with riders heading in the same direction.

Here’s an overview of how to effectively use this feature:

  • Daily limit: You can activate the Driver Destination feature up to twice a day, allowing you to receive trip requests that align with your planned route.

  • Visibility and reset: Check your remaining Driver Destinations directly in the Uber Driver app. Your usage count resets daily at midnight, giving you fresh opportunities to align rides with your destinations.

  • Availability considerations: During peak hours or in areas with high demand, the feature might be temporarily unavailable to ensure quick rider pickups and protect driver partners earnings. If you encounter a notification indicating that Driver Destinations are not available, it’s advisable to try again when demand decreases.

  • Efficient usage: Each time you set a destination and complete a trip, it counts as one use of your daily limit. If you change your destination after completing a trip, it will consume one of your two daily allowed uses. This system helps to manage the feature’s availability and ensures that it’s used by driver partners who can benefit most at any given time.

This feature is intentionally crafted to help you find trips that complement your schedule and route preferences, enhancing your efficiency on the road.

Keep in mind the limitations during busier times to plan your day effectively and make the most out of the Driver Destination feature.

To activate the destination filter click on the “Filters” button at the top right corner of the “Home” page and activate the destination filter by clicking on the toggle next to the name. Once you turn it on with the toggle it’ll let you select the address you want to go to. You can review how many uses you have left in the day there.
