Uber is launching “Uber Comfort,” a new service designed to provide a comfortable ride experience at an affordable price point suitable for everyday use. With fares lower than Uber Premium—and confirmed upfront and with no pickup fee—we offer comfortable rides primarily in high-quality sedans and electric vehicles (EVs).

Whether for business travel or casual outings, this service offers a smart choice that balances value and comfort. We are rolling out the service starting with pickups in central city areas and plan to expand our coverage area over time.

Important Notes:

• During the initial phase of the service, pickups and dropoffs are limited to designated areas (6 central Tokyo wards).

• Depending on vehicle availability in the area and the time of day, dispatch may take longer than usual, or it may not be possible to arrange a vehicle.

• This service is subject to change, suspension, or termination without prior notice.
