2.5.2 Get your transport licence validated

Couriers must have a light-duty cargo license (“licence de transport léger de marchandises”) to deliver on a motorized vehicle. To ensure your compliance, please check that your license meets the required criteria below:

• To have your license validated, certain criteria must be met:
• A license number appears on the license;
• The name and address of the company appears on the license;
• The company name and address appears on the license ;
• The company’s siren number appears on the license;
• The license is less than 10 years old.

⚠️ This license is only available after you have registered your company with the Road Transport Registry.

Once the photo is submitted, the approval process can take up to 36 hours.
