PENDING CHARGE
Like many companies, we use temporary charges to check payment methods are valid.
Uber refunds this charge as soon as your trip is complete, or removes it from the total cost of your fare.
Some banks take a few days to process this refund. If you would like more information on processing times, please contact your bank.
IT DOES NOT APPEAR AS A PENDING CHARGE
There are a couple of reasons why you may have an unknown charge on your account.
Please check to make sure none of the following apply: * Is a friend or family member using your account? * Was the trip cancelled?
Cancellation fees pay driver partners for the time and effort they spend getting to your location, or if they have to wait too long for you. Check your trip history to see if you have cancelled any recent trips.
If you believe you were charged a cancellation fee in error, go to your trip history and select the trip in question. Under the trip select “Review my cancellation fee” and we’ll look into it.
Please use this page if you have an unrecognized charge related to a previous trip. If you have an issue with your Uber Pass or Uber One membership, please click on the article How do I cancel my subscription?
If none of the above apply, please enter your details into the form below and we’ll look into it.
Please only submit this form once. If you have more than one unknown charge, let us know in the comments section.
