Authorizing new credit cards on Uber for Business accounts

When you add a new credit card to your account, you may be asked to verify payment information.

As part of this verification process, two temporary authorizations up to 2 dollars are sent to your credit card. The temporary authorizations will be dropped within 2-3 business days.

TO VERIFY YOUR CREDIT CARD:

1. Sign in to your online bank account
2. Find the two authorization amounts in your transactions
3. Enter the exact amounts of the authorizations in the Uber for Business screen
