Signup flow for administrative roles

When an Uber for Business admin adds a new member to the dashboard in an administrative role—admin, coordinator, sustainability manager, or reviewer—the new member will receive an invitation email with 2 options:

Sign up with work email: Create a new Uber account associated with your work email address.

  • If you want to use a separate work account only to sign in to the Uber for Business dashboard while keeping your personal Uber account separate, this option may be ideal for you.
  • If you’re creating an account only for your work email, we recommend enabling 2-factor authentication.

Link your existing Uber account: Create a business profile that’s linked to your organization within your existing Uber account

  • If you need to access the Uber for Business dashboard for administrative purposes and you want to use your organization’s travel or meal perks on the Uber app, this option may be ideal for you.

The invitation email will show both options and may highlight one if the user is in a group with access to the organization’s travel or meal perks. The user can choose one of the options in the invitation email and follow the steps to complete the signup.
