4 - Frequently asked questions on Signing up as a Delivery Partner

[GENERAL INFORMATION]

What is Uber Eats?

  • Uber Eats is the Uber application that links users, restaurants and delivery partners, and has been present in Poland since February 2017. Through the application, users have access to a variety of restaurants available according to the selected location.

[ONBOARDING ON HOLD]

Why is the onboarding delayed?

  • Sometimes we receive a very high number of requests to become a delivery partner with Uber Eats. In this case, you will be informed that the onboarding process is delayed and that the onboarding takes longer than usual.
Please, be ensured that once the onboarding speed is back to normal, you will be informed by email and sms. In the meantime, you can upload the required documents to speed up the process once the onboarding returns to normal.

[DOCUMENTS]

1. How do I upload a document?

  • To upload or update documents on your account, simply log into your partner area here or use your Uber Driver application

2. My document got rejected

If you have been told that one of your documents has been rejected or expired, this could be mainly because:

  • the image is blurry or dark
  • the document is not visible in its entirety
  • the four corners of your documents are not visible
  • the document is expired
  • the document uploaded does not correspond to the one requested
  • there is a missing side or supporting document

To see the detailed documents guide, please follow the link below.

3. How quickly will my documents be approved?

  • It usually takes 36 hours to verify uploaded documents. However, please note that some documents can be pending until you upload dependent documents (ex. to enable profile photo or delivery bag photo verification, you should first upload and get approved your ID)

4. I’m having difficulty uploading my documents

  • If you encounter any difficulties in updating your documents, we invite you to contact us. You will be able to upload your documents in chat with our support agent who can then upload them instead of you on your account (assuming the document meets initial review). If your documents are not yet approved, please wait 36 hours before contacting us, and ensure you uploaded and got approved your ID beforehand (=before all other documents).

5. How do I update a document(s)

If you already have an active account and signed in the Uber Driver app:

  • Select the menu icon in the top left corner of the page > “Account” > “Documents”
  • Select the document(s) you want to update.
  • Read the guidelines and upload a photo/document.

A photo or a document should be submitted in good quality (clear image and readable text), valid (not expired), and include all sides/pages if needed.

[SHARING ACCOUNTS]

Uber’s terms and conditions do not allow sharing of delivery partner accounts. Another delivery partner using your account poses a serious safety concern. If we learn that a delivery partner did not match the delivery partner profile displayed by an eater’s app, the account will be immediately suspended pending an investigation.

We have zero tolerance for confirmed complaints of this nature. A delivery partner who has violated this policy is permanently removed from the platform. If there is an unconfirmed complaint, the delivery partner will receive a formal warning. Unconfirmed complaints are documented via a strike system. Multiple complaints of account sharing can result in termination of a delivery partner account.
