Applying for the Uber Pro Card

If you’re an active driver or courier, you can apply for the Uber Pro Card directly through the Driver app. Here’s how:

1. Open the Driver app and tap Wallet.
2. Select payment methods.
3. Tap on the Uber Pro Card banner.
4. Follow the instructions on your screen to fill out and submit your application.
5. Once you see the confirmation page, download the Uber Pro Card app.
6. Set up your account in the new app.

Applications are processed by our banking partner, Marqeta. Upon approval, the Uber Pro Card team will set up your checking account, and your payment will arrive in the mail within 8–12 business days.

You won’t be able to sign up for the Uber Pro Card if you have an outstanding balance.

Activating your Uber Pro Card

To activate your new card:

1. In the Uber Pro Card app, navigate to the Card page.
2. Tap Activate card and enter your card details.

You can now use your Uber Pro Card in person and online.

Virtual card:

A virtual card is a version of your Uber Pro Card that you can use for online payments.

Your virtual card and physical card will have the same 16-digit card number, but their security codes and expiry dates may be different.

Using your virtual card

To use your virtual card:

1. In the Uber Pro Card app, navigate to the Card page.
2. Tap Show details to view your virtual card details in the app.
3. Use the card number, expiry date, and security code to make online payments.

Your card isn’t working?

There are various reasons why your payment may not be working, such as:

• Your payment may not have been activated.
• Your account may have locks or restrictions.
• You may have insufficient funds.

This is what your card status means

Your Uber Pro Card’s status helps you understand what you are currently able to do and what actions you may need to take.

• Active: Your Uber Pro Card is ready for use.
• Locked: Your Uber Pro Card has been temporarily disabled at your request or due to suspicious activity.
• Expired: Your Uber Pro Card has reached or exceeded its expiry date and needs to be replaced.
• Terminated: Your Uber Pro card is no longer valid and cannot be used.

Closing your Uber Pro Card account

To close your Uber Pro card account, send a message to your closest branch by following these steps:

1. Open the Uber Pro card app.
2. Tap on the Account tab.
3. Select Support from the top right corner
