Step 1: Log into Uber Ads Manager
- Go to advertiser.uber.com and sign in.
- Select the correct ad account from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Create a New Sponsored Listing Campaign
- Click “Create” in the Campaigns tab.
- Choose “Advertise to your customers”
Step 3: Define Your Campaign
Fill out the information related to your campaign:
- Campaign name
- Budget
- Duration and Schedule
- Hit “Next”
Step 4: Define type of ad group
There are 2 available options of campaign types available. For this example, please choose “Sponsored Listing”. Hit “Create Ad Group”
Step 5: Create Ad Group
Uber Ads Manager provides multiple targeting options, including:
* All Customers – Target all Uber Eats users in your delivery radius.
* New Customers – Reach users who have never ordered from your restaurant before.
* Returning Customers – Target past customers to encourage repeat orders.
Step 6: Define Your Audience
Uber Ads Manager provides multiple targeting options, including:
- All Customers – Target all Uber Eats users in your delivery radius.
- New Customers – Reach users who have never ordered from your restaurant before.
- Returning Customers – Target past customers to encourage repeat orders.
Step 7: Apply Advanced Targeting (Optional)
For more precise audience segmentation, use:
- Order Value Targeting – Focus on users who typically place larger or smaller orders.
- Uber One Targeting – Reach Uber One members, who order more frequently and spend more per transaction.
Step 8: Select Locations
Assign specific restaurant locations to the campaign.
- Manage multiple locations in a single ad account, unlike Uber Eats Manager, which requires separate campaigns for each location.
Step 9: Select Bid Type:
Choose a way to spend your budget
- Spend-based bidding (Auto) - Aim to spend the full budget while prioritizing the highest return
- Goal-based bidding - Cap your spend by only bidding when your set target is likely to be met
- Set manually - Set a cap for each bid while prioritizing the highest return
Step 10: Customize Your Creative
- Upload high-quality custom images for better engagement.
- Preview how your ad will appear in search results and category pages.
Step 9: Launch Your Campaign
- Click “Submit” to activate the campaign.
- Track real-time performance using Uber Ads Manager’s performance dashboard.
