I have an issue paying with PIX in a cash trip

If you paid for a Cash trip with PIX outside the Uber app, please follow the next recommendations.

We strongly recommend using PIX QR in the Uber App. You can ask your driver to show the PIX QR at the end of the trip inside the Uber App to protect your payment.

To report properly, please make sure you attach the PIX receipt and all the next information is clear:

  • Receptor name
  • Sender name
  • Transaction hour
  • Transaction amount

Your receipt must be 100% legible and comply with specific conditions.

In order for us to evaluate your proof of payment, we need it to meet the conditions:

  • Your receipt must be 100% legible - we recommend saving as a PDF rather than screen prints.
  • Your receipt cannot be a payment schedule - scheduled payment will not be accepted.
  • Your receipt has the full name of the driver and the user - they must match the trip.
  • The amount transferred to the driver must be equal to the value of the trip - if you have made an overpayment or underpayment, justify it.
  • Payment date and time cannot be more than 24 hours after travel.

We will only accept non-platform PIX payment reports if it is within 10 days of completion of the trip.
