Uber Taxi is a new option in the Uber App that allows you to have Drivers whose vehicle is a taxi.
Drivers who sign up to drive with Uber Taxi and meet all requirements will be able to receive ride requests from this category, as well as from UberX.
Being able to receive trip requests from both categories might increase the probability for Taxi Drivers to make more earnings.
The Uber Taxi rate will be the one indicated by the taximeter, and the earnings will be reflected in the "weekly earnings summary" for Taxi Drivers.
