How to withdraw the Uber Money balance resulting from the redemption of your Gift Card

If you have unused Uber Money from a purchase of a redeemed Gift Card, you may be able to request a full withdrawal (partial withdrawals are not possible). Please note, as an additional security measure, you’ll need to send some information for payment and identity verification in order to request a withdrawal.

To verify your identity:

1. Make sure you have the latest version of the Uber app.
2. Go to “Account” in your Uber app
3. Go to “Wallet/Payment”
4. Tap on the “Uber Money” card, enter their password if prompted
5. Now press “More options”
6. Now press “Verify your identity” and follow steps there
