Self-service vouchers allow businesses to create rides and Uber Eats vouchers after signing up for an Uber for Business account.
To get started with self-service vouchers:
During the campaign, your credit card will be charged at the end of every day for the value of all vouchers that were used. You are financially responsible for all used vouchers, even if the voucher is misused or used by someone unintended.
You can manage your voucher campaign and create new ones from vouchers.uber.com.
When creating vouchers, you agree to follow all laws and regulations applicable to the marketing, advertising, and distribution of the vouchers, and will not harm the goodwill or reputation of Uber. You may not distribute vouchers for any prohibited purpose listed in the Vouchers Brand Guidelines, including transporting, facilitating, or promoting illegal activity, illegal products, or discriminatory practices or events. Additional terms apply.
If you already have an Uber for Business account but don’t have Vouchers enabled, you can get started with self-service vouchers here.
During the campaign, your credit card will be charged every 24 hours for the value of all vouchers used in the past 24 hours. You are financially responsible for all used vouchers, even if the voucher is misused or used by someone unintended.
You can only make one manual payment per day.
If you make a manual payment, your account will still be automatically charged at the end of the 24-hour period for any owed amounts, including:
You can create any number of vouchers as long as each voucher doesn’t exceed $200 per ride or order.
If you prepaid for your campaign, any unused vouchers will automatically be refunded to your credit card after the campaign ends. You’ll be refunded within 10 business days. However, if a voucher creation fee is applicable, the amount of the fee will be specified before you confirm payment and will be non-refundable after the voucher is created, regardless of whether the voucher is used.
To get a refund for the unused vouchers before the campaign ends, cancel the active campaign. The unused voucher amount for that campaign will be refunded to your credit card within 10 business days. However, if a voucher creation fee was charged when you paid for the campaign, that fee is non-refundable.
Once the campaign is canceled, all vouchers on that campaign (including those that have already been distributed) will immediately be void. You’re responsible for informing customers that have received the vouchers that the vouchers are no longer valid—customers will not receive any such notice from Uber.
