If you’re having trouble linking your profile to your company’s Uber for Business account, it could be due to the following reasons:

  • Issues accessing the invite link
  • Error when using the invite link
  • Issues with login details

Issues finding the invite link

If you’re unable to find or access your invite link, follow these steps to generate a new one:

  • Click on this help center
  • Click ‘Log in’ at the top right corner and sign in using your existing Uber account credentials.
  • Once logged in, you should see the screen requesting to input your business email address
  • Enter the business email address you believe is used to add you to your organization
  • Click on ‘Next’
  • If your email is linked to an Uber for Business account, you’ll receive a new invite email.

If you don’t receive an invite, you may not have a pending invitation. Use this link to check eligibility. If we detect an organization with your work email domain that allows join requests, you will receive an email to verify and request access.

  • Your request may be auto-approved or require admin approval, depending on your organization’s settings.

Issues with the invite link:

If your existing invitation link isn’t working:

  • Generate a new invite link by following the steps above.
  • Once you receive the new invite email, click the invite link as soon as possible to accept it.
  • If the error persists, try opening the link in an Incognito/Private browsing window.
  • Follow the steps to log in and link your profile to access your organization’s account.
  • If using a PIN code, ensure it is entered correctly.
  • If you still can’t join, ask your Uber for Business administrator to resend the invite.

Issues with login details:

  • After accepting the invitation, log in using your existing Uber credentials (if you already have an account). Note: This is only for login purposes—your company will not have access to trips taken on your personal profile.
  • If you don’t have an Uber account, you’ll be guided through a sign-up process after accepting the invite.

Note:

  • Don’t forward your email invite or use a forwarded invite. Every individual user added to the business account will have their own personal unique email invitation.
  • Please double check your spam folder to see if the email was accidentally marked as spam. If it was marked as spam, we recommend adding our domain, uber.com, as contacts in your email inbox.
