If you choose to pay in the Uber app, you’ll be able to select from the available payment methods in your Uber Wallet, including eligible credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, and any available Uber Cash.
Regardless of how you pay for your rental, you’ll still need to present a valid physical credit card in the main driver’s name when you collect the vehicle. The rental supplier will typically place a security deposit on the card, which is separate from the rental price and is generally refunded after the vehicle is returned, provided there are no additional charges, such as damage, fuel or charging fees, or unpaid tolls or fines.

Car Delivery reservations must be paid in advance through the Uber app. During checkout, you’ll be able to select from the available payment methods in your Uber Wallet, including eligible credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, and any available Uber Cash.
Before your rental begins, you’ll complete the required identity verification in the Uber app. Additional charges, such as fuel, tolls, damage, or optional add-ons, may apply in accordance with the supplier’s rental agreement.
Although you’ve prepaid for your reservation, the rental supplier may still require a valid physical credit card for the security deposit or any additional charges associated with your rental. We recommend reviewing the supplier’s Terms and Conditions before booking to understand the applicable payment requirements.
