How to solve issues with using your Uber Money balance?

Please note that we’re progressively enabling Uber Money on Eats orders requested from the Uber ride app or from computers.

Follow these troubleshooting steps to be able to use your Uber Money balance:

  • Verify you have an internet or mobile data connection
  • Be physically present in one of the countries where Uber Money is supported (United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Spain, Italy, Portugal)
  • Turn on your GPS location
  • Try ordering trips via the Uber mobile app and food deliveries via the UberEats mobile app
  • Make sure you have the latest updated apps and restart them
  • Reboot your device

In case your Uber Money balance couldn’t be applied to a previous trip or order, you can try switching payment methods by following these steps:

  • Open the Uber or Uber Eats mobile app
  • Tap ‘Orders’ or ‘Activity’
  • Select your past order or trip you wish to switch the payment method for
  • Select ‘View receipt’, scroll down and tap ‘Switch payment method’
  • Move to the next screen and select ‘EMoney’

Your payment method that was used to pay for the trip or order will be refunded and your Uber Money funds will be deducted instead if you have enough balance.
