Uber Charter lets you book high-capacity group rides in vehicles seating 14-55 passengers, such as limo buses, luxury vans, and coach buses—all driven by professionally licensed drivers. If your group is more than 55 people, you’ll need to create an additional booking depending on the group size. Bookings can be made 48 hours to 8 months before your trip’s start date.

Uber Charter is an ideal transportation option for:

Where is Uber Charter available?

Uber Charter is available statewide throughout most states in the US. To see if Uber Charter is available for service in an area, visit the Uber Charter homepage in-app or online and enter your trip’s start location.

As of February 2024, Uber Charter is not currently available in the following locations: Alaska, California (excluding the Bay Area and the Los Angeles metro area), Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine (excluding the Portland metro area), Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah (excluding the Salt Lake City metro area), Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming.

What’s permitted

Permitted:

• Children if accompanied by a legal-aged chaperone
• Service animals
• Pre-arranged food and beverages
• Alcohol where permitted by law (with all passengers being 21 or older)

Not permitted:

• Pets
• Glass containers
