Paying outstanding balances with Uber
Settling my balance
If you need to clear a payment you owe with Uber, please follow these steps:
- Open your Uber app
- You’ll see a notification if you have a pending payment
- Go to the main menu and tap on “Wallet”
- Choose the option to pay your outstanding balance
Selecting a payment method
During the payment process:
- Pick your preferred payment method
- If you’re paying by boleto (a Brazilian payment method), you can confirm the amount and then press “Continue” to generate the boleto
Completion and due date
Once you’ve begun the payment process:
- Complete the payment via your preferred method, such as cash deposit, internet banking, or at lottery agencies (lotéricas)
- Make sure to pay within 7 days from generating your boleto
- You can confirm the due date in your app’s inbox
Updating payment amount
If you need to adjust the payment amount:
- Tap on the corner of the payment box
- You can then update the amount you wish to pay
