How to hide a ride

We understand that sometimes you might prefer to keep certain past rides private. With our new “Hide this ride” feature, you now have complete control over which trips appear in your Activity Hub. This functionality allows you to easily conceal any past ride, ensuring a more personalized and private experience within the app.

How to hide a ride:

1. Go to the Activity hub in the Uber app.
2. Select the ride you want to hide from your history.
3. On the “Ride Details” screen, choose “Hide this ride”.
4. Confirm your choice, and the ride will be hidden from your Activity Hub.

We also understand that preferences can change. If you ever wish to view or restore a trip you’ve previously hidden, the process is just as simple:

1. Go to “Settings” then tap on “Privacy” in the Account hub inyour Uber app.
2. In the Privacy settings, select “Activity privacy”.
3. Follow on-screen instructions to verify your identity.
4. Once verified, you’ll be able to visualize your hidden trips. Review them and select “Unhide” to make them reappear in your Activity Hub.
